How to Create Related Backlinks to a Forum

No matter if you are just starting your Internet business or if you are a seasoned professional you are going to need ways of getting the word out to the public about what you are promoting. It would seem that there are almost endless ways of doing this. I am going to tell you how you can get your word out by using related backlinks.

It’s a well know fact that backlinking is a great way to get the search engines to recognize that your Internet business exist but just blasting thousands of backlinks to anywhere isn’t always going to get you great qualified traffic results. Qualified traffic is a key point here. What you need are related backlinks.

Let me explain. Related backlinks are backlinks that pertain to your niche. Let’s say your niche is dog grooming. Then your related backlinks would be a backlink you leave on a forum that talks about tips on how to groom your dog. Another forum might be grooming supplies for dogs.

I’ve mentioned about leaving related backlinks on a forum. The way you do that is by leaving a comment on that forum. But the comment isn’t your backlink either. Many of the forums will let you create a signature. In your signature is where you place an HTML tag with the URL to your landing page. When you save your informative comment then your signature will be placed underneath your comment. Now you are creating related backlinks.

To review I will list in order the steps you would follow to add related backlinks to a forum.

 1. Based upon you niche, find forums that related to it.
 2. Most of the forums will make you register so go ahead and register to the forum.
 3. Once in the forum, locate your profile. Make sure you enter your URL if there is a place where you can add your Website.
 4. Find the option to add your Signature. Edit your Signature and add your HTML tag. Most forums accept a tag like this: A Catchy Phrase Goes Here
 5. Many of the forums will let you preview your Signature. Preview it and modify it until you are happy with it.
 6. Now the fun begins. Begin to search through the different threads of the forum until you find a comment that is related to our niche. Once found add a meaningful comment.
 7. Most forums will allow you to preview your comment before posting. Preview it and notice your Signature. If you’re happy with your comment then post it.
 8. Wala! You are now a related backlinks master!
Now, finding related forums where you can add more related backlinks is an article for another time.

Free Tips on How to Increase Your Backlink Searches

Some questions that haunt the affiliate are; how do I get search engine traffic to find my blog or web site? Or, how do I get search engine ranking? You might also ask; what are backlinks and what does a backlink search have to do with search engine traffic and search engine ranking? These questions might be old hat for some but for others these might be the question of the day. Let me help you understand how backlinks searches, search engine traffic, and search engine ranking go hand in hand.

1. It is important to understand that there are different types of backlinks and what their effects are on search engine optimization.

Let’s start by understanding that there are three types of backlinks:
 • Outbound backlinks
Appears on a blog or Web page and directs users and search engine crawlers to another blog or Web page. A wise use of them will help promote blog ranking.
 • Reciprocal backlinks
You add your blog URL to another site and in return you are required to add their URL to your blog.
 • One-way inbound backlinks
You add your URL to another Website that points back to your blog or site page.
Newer search engine algorithms actually dislike reciprocal backlinks and favor one-way inbound backlinks. The trick is to get an inbound link that is one-way only. So when you backlink, it will be a one way link.

2. Proper backlinks will enhance search engine ranking.

Backlinks are incoming links to a Website or page. They measure the Website or page rank and also affect search engine optimization (SEO) considerations and calculations. As you can gather, creating backlinks will increase Google’s search engine ranking and by so doing will increase your search engine traffic.

3. Traffic and search engine ranking.

Getting the search engines to rank your work is the way to increase your blogs traffic. But as stated above, it is through backlinks that your ranking is increased by the search engines. But you don’t want to backlink to just any Website or blog.

My intent was to help you see the importance the answers are to these questions about search engine traffic, search engine ranking, and backlink searches. You need related and relative backlinks and this is where your work really starts. Your success as an affiliate will very much depend on the strengths of your backlinks.

Can Related - Relevant Backlinks Increase Traffic?

So here I am, wanting to start an Internet business to generate a little extra income for my family and I'm searching all over the Internet trying to gain a bit of knowledge of what I should be doing and were to start. I remembered a friend who sells books through Amazon tell me once how important it was to get the word out over the Internet. I sort of understood what he was talking about but while I was doing my research the light turned on in my head when I read about a tool that could find related and relevant backlinks for you. I wasn't ready for it then but I quickly bookmarked the URL so I could go back to it later when I was ready.

I've since found a product that I can sell and earn 50% profit off of it. I've had some great help in learning how to market on the Internet and I’ve just accomplished a #1 spot on Google’s search engine all due to backlinking and using related and relevant key words. I’d like to give back to the community by sharing some tips I’ve learned along the way.

1. Are Related Relevant Backlinks Really Important?

They sure are! It’s important that you find key words that are related and relevant to what you are trying to promote. If you are trying to promote ear rings and your key words lead your prospective buyer to eye glasses you are going to miss out on a potential sell.

2. What Are Related and Relevant Key Words?

Related key words will lead your potential buyers to your ear rings. If you make the jewelry then use something like “Looking for Personalized Jewelry” in your article. You don’t want your keywords to be non related or non relevant unless you don’t want to enhance your ratings on Google and of course you want to enhance your Google rating! That’s what it’s all about.

3. Can Backlinking Really Enhance Your Google Rating?

Absolutely! However, it is very important that you backlink to relevant forums or blogs to increase traffic. You want to search out the forums where people are talking about jewelry and to find forums that are looking for personalize jewelry would be a gold mine, so to speak.

4. Is It Easy To Backlink?

Well, yes and no. I’ve found it to be somewhat easy but can be very time consuming. The part that I’ve found to be the most time consuming is trying to find the relevant forums to backlink with. However, I’ve also found that as I search for the relevant forums that I also learn a lot about what people are wanting. I’ve also found it important to find a good backlinking tool.

To build backlinks for your blog you should find a good backlink tool or service. You can cut down the workload of finding backlinks by using one of the many tools available.
